You will be supporting the European Food Safety and Quality department for external factories and suppliers while developing to your fullest potential within this internship. Your focus areas will be SCQM (Supply Chain Quality Management) and agile developments with the NG (New Growth) team.
Assignments and key activities:
- Support project coordination, communication and documentation activities within:
- Food Safety and Quality Risk Mitigation Projects
- Food Safety and Quality Process Improvement for Suppliers and External Factories
- Analyze information and support the New Growth POD team
- Analyze information and support the SCQM team
- SCQM Performance analysis and tracking performance against plan.
Some specific activities that will be the responsibility of the FSQ intern:
- Perform root-cause analyses
- Join Agile sprints and update related information
- SCQM Performance analysis and follow-up management
- Supplier engagement with regard to supplier performance and compliance with established ways of working
- Perform supportive tasks related to external manufacturer audits and quality improvement meetings.

You’ll join the Limit Monitoring team which is part of Trading & Operations, within the team we control that Nordea's portfolio managers comply with relevant legislation and regulations, as well as the specific investment guidelines which have been agreed to with clients or set out in fund prospectuses. We are responsible for controlling and escalating investment restrictions end-of-day on all mandates and funds handled through the Compliance Manager module of the asset management platform SimCorp Dimension.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct Daily Limits Monitoring of investment limits for both internal and external portfolio managers using SimCorp Dimension ensuring compliance with regulation (UCITS, US 1940 Act…) and guidelines across all asset classes.
- Become an integrated part of the daily routines.
- Escalation of breaches to investment restrictions to Client managers, portfolio managers and risk/compliance functions.

- KPI Identification and Analysis:
- Collaborate with Customer Service teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Propose evolution on current core data model to support KPIs
- Analyze existing data sources and methodologies for KPI tracking to ensure alignment with core data model.
- Benchmark industry best practices for customer service KPIs.
Dashboard Development and Implementation:
- Design with data visualisation tools (eg. power Bi…) and develop with the help of D&IT team (GDO) interactive dashboards to visualise and track actionable key customer service KPIs
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all dashboards.
- Support the distribution and training of the dashboards to the teams.
Digital Roadmap Support:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Customer Care digital roadmap.
- Support the deployment of new digital tools and processes and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide support for change management and training initiatives.
- Track the progress of the digital roadmap, and provide updates to the customer care director and to the digital board (4x/year)
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze customer service data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

- Economic Governance: Provides technical assistance and undertakes studies, evaluations, and diagnostics related to Public Financial Management and macroeconomic reforms. Supports the design and implementation of budget support operations.
As an intern at ADE, you will actively participate in a variety of evaluation projects. More specifically, you will contribute to:
- Reflection with the team on the most appropriate evaluation design and methodology for each project.
- Preparation of data collection tools, including surveys, interview guides, and focus group discussion templates.
- Quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, including data collection, coding, and analysis using various tools and methodologies.
- Participating in report drafting and contributing to the creation of visualizations for client presentations.
- Support to tendering processes, including support to search of expertise, budget preparation and proposal writing.
