In this business unit, activities are carried out through open-ended funds, which invest in bonds issued by public or private companies throughout the ratings spectrum (investment grade or high yield securities). For each investment, the team performs an intensive due diligence that focuses on a constant interchange between their top-down view (directional market analysis leading to a sector screening) and their bottom-up view (fundamental analysis of each issuer leading to a selection of the securities to be held on portfolio). In addition, for each issuer, the team evaluates ESG risks and opportunities to ensure that the investments comply with the relevant Group policy.

 

Within the Fixed-Income Credit Research Team, you will be in charge of assisting the analysts to perform their investment recommendations for high-yield bonds:

  • Business and financial profile of issuers;
  • Financial modelling;
  • Relative value analysis;
  • Quarterly monitoring of a portfolio of selected issuers;
  • Participation to roadshows and other investor events;
  • Regular meetings with the Research and Portfolio Management Teams.
  • Supporting with the execution of the strategic marketing plan, both digital and retail: Zalando, El Corte Inglés mainly.
  • Coordinate the development of persuasive sales materials.
  • Oversee ongoing marketplace marketing needs with a particular focus on minor regional account and outlet.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders: Marketing team, Sales team and external agencies and clients.

 

Under the supervision of a (senior) economist of the Economics Department, you will carry out work related to various projects, such as the development and management of databases, economic analysis for the preparation of the EIB Investment Report and other reports of the Department, the EIB Investment Survey (EIBIS), the EIB municipality survey, the CESEE bank lending survey, the EIB Banking in Africa Survey, internal models for sovereign risk rating and bank industry risk ratings, and macroeconomic scenarios, among others.

 

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Extract, develop, prepare and manage large datasets for econometric and statistical analysis.
  • Prepare basic descriptive statistics, charts, tables and short reports based on data analysis.
  • Co-operate with (senior) economists in developing econometric and statistical models for data analysis.
  • Co-operate and assist (senior) economists in exploring and interpreting the results from the econometric and statistical analysis, providing economic rationale and drawing policy conclusions. 
  • Draft draft short literature reviews on topics that are relevant to the projects of the Economics Department.
  • Support PMs in projects and take over defined work packages (for example Change Management task, Organizational task, etc.).   
  • Support Project Management Office in defined task (for example KPI monitoring, ..)  and in reporting requests for project portfolios.
  • Support IT leads for special initiatives (for example Workshop preparations, investigations in different new IT/Process topics, etc.).
  • Take minutes of the Inter-Agency Coordination Meeting and the Integration Working Group, maintain mailing lists and send invitations for coordination meetings;
  • Assist in consolidation of data for preparation of periodic reports such as statistics’ snapshots, and for background briefings to media;
  • Prepare briefing kits for visitors;
  • Monitor local media (including online, print and social media) and report on major developments;
  • Assist with the implementation of awareness-raising activities during International Days;
  • Provide administrative and flow management support during employability activities (e.g. job fairs);
  • Provide administrative support in routine services and activities within the Unit.
  • Conduct substantive research on child and youth rights issues and draft different types of documents, including talking points and reports.
  • Support the development of key messages on child and youth rights issues related to the work of the Team.
  • Support the organization of events and other activities organized by the team, including assisting with notetaking.
  • Contribute to improving human rights outreach, including through the development of child-friendly communication materialss, as well as with web and content management.
  • Other activities as required by the Team.
  • Handling all day-to-day bookkeeping activities for our international clients
  • Preparing the annual financial statements and periodic reports in Luxembourg Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Lux GAAP) but also International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)  and US GAAP
  • Coordinating indirect and direct tax returns and tax provisions services in collaboration with our international tax department
  • Preparing consolidated accounts
  • Remaining current on recent developments and changes relating to accounting area.

  • Learn and professionally apply Toyota cost planning & network simulation.

Le stage s’articule autour de 2 missions complémentaires :

 

1. Pilotage de la mise en conformité des plans de revêtement d’étanchéité

  • Contexte : Des revêtements d’étanchéité en peau composite sont appliqués sur les parois internes. Des plans de revêtements sont réalisés dans le but de capitaliser les données.
  • Objectifs de la mission #1 :
    • Concaténer les données d’entrées nécessaires à la mise à jour des plans ;
    • Surcharger les plans historiques avec les infos modifier ;
    • Intégrer les scénarios de revêtement à réaliser ;
    • Partager avec le bureau d’étude EDF les modifications à réaliser ;
    • Piloter l’avancement du bureau d’étude ;
    • Vérifier l’exhaustivité des modifications et la cohérence avec les plans finalisés ;
    • Mise à jour de la note de synthèse des plans POCO.

2.  Comparaison des estimations de Taux de fuite et des résultats en Epreuve Enceinte afin d’identifier les facteurs qui pourraient expliquer les écarts obtenus.

  • Contexte : Afin d’anticiper les travaux d’application de revêtement d’étanchéité sur les parois internes, des méthodes d’estimation de Taux de fuite ont été élaborées. Dans certains cas, il existe des écarts entre les estimations et les mesures réalisées lors des Epreuves Enceinte.
  • Objectifs de la mission #2 :
    • Identifier des facteurs qui permettraient d’expliquer ces écarts ;
    • Proposer des pistes d’optimisation pour améliorer la précision de la méthode d’estimation des Taux de fuite.
    • Tu souhaites prendre part aux défis de demain de poursuite de l’exploitation des moyens de production d’électricité.
  • Assist with data analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools to build new data products and analytical solutions according to business requirements.

Supporting the Innovation Process Manager

  • You will collaborate with the Innovation Process Manager to streamline and optimize our innovation processes. This will entail analysing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaborating with the Innovation Officer

  • You will assist the Innovation Officer in building and engaging our community of innovators. This will involve organizing events, facilitating workshops, and fostering connections with internal and external stakeholders to promote innovation and knowledge sharing.

Assisting the Specialists in Foresight & Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence 

  • You will provide support to our specialists in Foresight & Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence by conducting research, collecting data, and assisting in the development and implementation of innovative technologies and methodologies.

Supporting Communication Efforts

  • You will assist in communication efforts to effectively convey the work and impact of our Innovation Team, both internally and externally. This will involve drafting communication materials and knowledge products, such as newsletters, reports, and social media posts to highlight key achievements, disseminate knowledge, and engage stakeholders.
