This project aims to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of using in vitro and in vivo models to characterize FcRn binding and to estimate the elimination PK parameters of antibody drug candidates in human. This will include: data analysis, comparison of in-vitro and in-vivo data, data mining, in silico models, reporting.
Major accountabilities:
- This internship will focus to work on a discovery pharmacokinetic screening project using a new established hMice model in collaboration with a non-profit organization outside of Novartis (in life part will be outsourced)
- Work on your own Pharmacokinetic evaluation and modeling project under the guidance of senior-level quantitative scientists
- Analyze data from various sources (e.g., animal studies) as well as in vitro investigations
- Attend seminars and other activities to enhance the understanding of the drug development process
- Present your project results to quantitative scientists and other stakeholders.
- Gathering information and conducting research through desk studies, collection of quantitative data and stakeholder consultation via emails and interviews
- Supporting project management including communication with clients, partners and external experts and internal/external reporting tasks
- Supporting the organisation and implementation of project events such as workshops and meetings
- Supporting data analysis and the drafting of sections of reports and other deliverables under the supervision of senior team members.
The main purpose of the internship is to provide updates to the International Catalogue of Sealed Radioactive Sources (ICSRS), upload and properly tag data, and to review source and device manufacturer information and provide updated photos and information to the ICSRS. Other tasks to support the DSRS team projects.
Functions:
- Obtain new information including and photos/drawings on existing sources and devices by contacting source and device manufacturers.
- Enter updated information into the ICSRS and confirm functionality.
- Perform broadscale reviews of data uploaded into both the DSRSNet and ICSRS for any errors, inconsistencies and duplications.
- Input available information into the Source Management System of the DSRS Team.

Toyota Technical Center (R&D) in Europe is responsible for the planning, design & styling, development and production of attractive, superior quality cars matching European market requirements. Within our R&D-organisation, Styling Design division plays a key role in the early design and styling development of our future models.
The Digital Modelling Team supports the designers in creating our new production cars. It requires technical modelling and visualization skills but also a good understanding of form and 3D volumes. Your communication with the designers and clay modellers is also essential.
