• Contribute to social media content production, with a focus on short-content format videos (Instagram reels, YouTube shorts) from ideation to shooting, editing and publication
  • Support with brand reputation monitoring and community management on various social media platforms
  • Identify the latest relevant social media trends
  • Assist with social media planning by encoding, scheduling, and publishing the social media posts in our content management system
  • Contribute to analytics reporting by retrieving native data from Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Support of the People & Organization Partner (HR Business Partner) and Talent Connection & Attraction Manager (Recruiter) in applicant management and recruiting
  • Independent coordination of virtual and face-to-face interviews in coordination with the Hiring Managers and (international) applicants
  • Preparation and active participation in weekly Recruiting Catch-Ups
  • Close cooperation with the Hiring Managers and the respective departments as well as contact person for all matters concerning interview coordination
  • Independent handling of various recruiting processes in our HR tool Workday
  • Assisting candidates with travel planning for personal interviews (hotel and flight bookings) as well as subsequent settlement of costs incurred
  • Support in the People Operations department with administrative tasks.

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of Scientific Affairs Officer, United Nations Platform for Space-based Information for Disaster Management and Emergency Response ,UN-SPIDER Vienna. Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual’s background; the intern’s assigned office as well as the internship period. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to the team in organising the UN-SPIDER Conferences.
  • Assist in making arrangements for the short training programme which will be held back to back with the UN-SPIDER Annual Conference
  • Specific duties include download registration form, sort out registration list, prepare invitation letter, communicate with the participants on logistic and other issues and assist in facilitating visa application.
  • Provide assistance in formatting the documents such as information note, agenda, background board, brochure, badges etc.
  • GIS/Remote sensing research.
  • Perform other tasks as necessary.
