You will join our Transport Control Center department and provide operational support to the team responsible for road and sea shipments, particularly in:
- Coordinating processes related to loading orders onto transport vehicles,
- Preparing and controlling the complete set of transport documents,
- Coordinating road and sea transports to ensure timely delivery,
- Resolving ongoing issues related to order fulfillment and transportation.
We are looking for an intern student with expertise in computational chemistry to contribute to the development of novel insulating materials for high-voltage power grid applications. In this position, you’ll contribute to the development of innovative insulating materials, leveraging cutting-edge computational chemistry tools. This 6- to 12-month internship offers you the chance to play an active role in shaping the future of energy solutions while gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
How you'll make an impact
- Contributing to technology development and research activities focusing on material analysis and characterization
- Supporting simulations of gas insulation systems using state-of-the-art computational chemistry software
- Investigating the relationship between microstructure and material characteristics, documenting findings and sharing results with the team.
- Propose an experiment design for modeling the conversion rate for the conjugation processes of reduction, conjugation & re-oxidation
- Propose and execute a DoE strategy to optimize the conjugation platform.
- Define and deploy an analytical strategy to control the conjugation step.
- Support the collection and reprocessing of data in connection with DSP steps.
- Contribute to the interpretation of experimental results with respect to process performance.
- Collaborate and exchange with process experts.
- Document your work and propose avenues for improvement and further development.
You will be trained to work autonomously in the lab and on data analysis, participate in experimental design, and take part in all project-related discussions.
Your role will be at the forefront of tackling complex challenges in the field of ophthalmology. You will develop and apply cutting-edge computational methods, perform in-depth statistical analyses on multimodal medical datasets, and create, implement, and evaluate computational assistance approaches on real-world data.
But your contribution won't stop at research and development. You will also have the unique opportunity to share your findings and insights with our team, fostering a collaborative environment that thrives on innovation.
- Maintain and promote a safe and clean working environment, both in the lab and in the field, in compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Follow safe work practices with a goal of zero safety incidents
- Work according to quality standards set by Lab Management (e.g., AS9100)
- Set up, execute, analyze, and report experiments independently within your unit
- Take ownership of assigned topics and tasks
- Document laboratory results accurately using lab notebooks, reports, meeting minutes, and monthly summaries
- Keep laboratory methods up to date and retain knowledge through regular documentation and research reports
- Help protect AkzoNobel's technologies through adherence to IP laws and participation in patent application processes.
