The intern will contribute to providing metadata in the UN Archives Geneva platform; and participate in the reference services in the UN Archives Geneva Reading Room. They will participate in the activities of the Archives Management Unit, depending on interest and capacities. The intern will be involved in a variety of tasks including:
- archival description;
- presence in the reading room;
- archives re-boxing;
- other activities with the team depending on interest and opportunity.
This internship project in Silicon Labs will give you an opportunity to work on real projects. You will have a chance to learn a lot about wireless technologies and embedded development by working beside experienced RF engineers with strong skills working in the Short Range Wireless Radio R&D team.
- Contribute to the understanding of the competitive environment, by:
- Identifying and analyzing the competitive landscape. To do so, you will ensure a regular watch.
- Testing and comparing product performances through laboratory test and verifying product claims.
- Analyzing products architecture & technical solutions.
- Identifying and analyzing patents landscape, with associated limitation and opportunities for the projects.
- Contribute to the construction of new and disruptive concepts of products and services, by:
- Participating and/or co-organizing ideation and design sprint sessions.
- Defining and validating the UX orientations and organizing UX user tests.
- Defining the concept architecture, design, technical solutions.
- Estimating PRU and investment related to the concept.
- Building test means and/or functional prototypes aiming to validate the concept performances through internal or external tests (performances, sensorial, UX…).
- Identifying relevant patent protection strategy and contributing to patent redaction
- Contribute to the management of the project, by:
- Interacting with and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
- Defining and maintaining project organization and monitoring supports such as project planning, reviews minutes and reporting, cost and investment, project KPIs…
- Preparing key project deliverables and key milestone supports.
The student will be part of a team or project group working on coating formulations and performing a variety of test with a high degree of independence. Literature, internal reports and coating educating syllabi are present to be used to acquire theoretical knowledge. All equipment necessary for paint formulation is available. The student will have a very regular contact with the supervisor to discuss approach, results, and continuation. The subject for the internship can have a more innovative character (technology/concept development) or focussed on product development. Several continuously evolving subjects are available, so is not possible to predict which projects will be worked on in advance. Regardless of this, all interns will have the opportunity to have an in-depth learning of coating technology and doing research in an industrial organisation.
- Benchmark competitor product marketing strategies to identify new opportunities.
- Monitor product and content developments to keep track of updates.
- Manage the release notes for the iOS and Android app stores.
- Leverage market insights to influence our product and content roadmaps.
- Support the implementation of go-to-market strategies and ensure coordination across the organisation.
- Ensure consistency between our brand storytelling and communications.
